Youssef is an engineering consultant with over 35 years of experience in corrosion management, piping and pipelines failure investigation, and asset integrity management in the oil & gas industry.
Based in UAE, Youssef is a Canadian licensed professional engineer and holds a bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering from Laval University in Quebec, Canada.
He has worked on over 60 FEED and EPC onshore and offshore mega projects in Canada and the Middle East.
He served as Head of Piping & Pipelines Department for more than 20 years in various international engineering consultancy companies.
He is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in onshore and offshore corrosion management, materials engineering, and piping and pipeline design.
He has an extensive experience with international engineering codes and standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, ISO, DNV, SHELL, BP, TOTAL, SAUDI ARAMCO, KOC, and ADNOC.
